Broccoli is high in sulforaphane, a substance which help keep arteries clear, going to add in its many health benefits of preventing a heart attack or stroke (CVA), according to new study. When Nrf2 is disabled in areas of arterial branches, the protection disappears, but the reactive sulforaphane restored the ability of arteries to take care of themselves.
